Gavin Newsom and Eric Garcetti are Victims of Right-Wing Zealots, and Other False Narratives

LOS ANGELES

LEANING RIGHT--It's not hard to suggest or conclude that former President Trump did not come through with his promises to "drain the swamp" or bring Americans together.

Ditto for infrastructure, a viable alternative to "Obamacare", or enforcing law and order when and where we needed it the most.

It's also not hard to suggest that Trump's characterization of "Sleepy Joe" Biden should have been more like "Lyin' Biden" or "Biding Biden" because new President Biden is anything BUT accessible, anything BUT uniting all Americans, and anyone BUT someone fixing Trump's unresolved problems (or acknowledging and maintaining Trump's successes just to make a few political points).

Creating a border crisis when it was finally under control (and where the HELL is Vice-President Harris who was supposed to handle the border crisis?)?

Shredding allied relations with Israel (previously moving forward with the Abraham Accords that were linking Israel with Arab nations at historic levels) in favor of terrorist-loving Iran, and kowtowing to China as a top-notch and uniting policy?

So it appears we replaced a liar with another liar in Washington. And hence it's becoming more horrible than ever to raise a child, let alone incentivize American families to create enough children to match the ever-aging American population.

Let's be blunt and honest: Bernie Sanders won the 2020 elections, and both JFK/traditional/America-long Democrats and Republicans were told to go "suck it", all with a falsely-reported and gaslighting loonie, zealot-loving left-wing media that NOBODY with any intelligence believes.

But I digress: California and local cities like LA are screwing up bigtime, and all the left-wing media sucking up to "poor victim" Gavin Newsom and "hanging in there" Eric Garcetti and the "woke" Mike Bonin and most of the LA City Council are making life a living nightmare right here in our own back yards, or even front yards:

1) California reopening and COVID declining making it harder to recall Governor Newsom. All anyone happy with the horribly slow pace of reopening, and the miserable "masks forever" despite COVID declining in incidence should ABSOLUTELY vote for Newsom in the recall election, but let's not forget that the California equivalent of "America doing great and waking up out of the pandemic" is pretty much a damned lie.

2) Why else would California's population falling (LINK: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-05-07/california-population-drop?utm_id=28811&sfmc_id=2021031) and the resultant California losing a Congressional seat based on new census data with Florida and Texas gaining Congressional representatives?

Such a stark, painful reality hardly favors our "booming" or even "gradual" reopening and quality of life around here.

Yes, traffic is worsening, so people are getting jobs--but are they returning to well-paying jobs, or is Main Street now still desperate while Wall Street is doing quite well, thank you very much?

3) L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti bailing on L.A. before his term is up?

Check. and maybe an ambassador post in India will cover Garcetti's tracks, but his handling of the affordable housing, homeless, and anti-business crises facing the City of the Angels pretty much establishes Garcetti as a SCREW-UP, FAILED Mayor as much as was his predecessor Antonio Villaraigosa.

4) Finally, the demand for COVID-19 vaccines is waning, to the extent that vaccination sites are shutting down. Yet the economy and quality of life for Californians will NOT go up unless the vaccinations and COVID-19 infections go down.

Masks and social distancing forever, anyone? Does that sound just greeeeeeeat?

And if Black and Latino lives matter, and Black and Latino Californians (and other Americans) are suffering most of the health disabilities and dying from COVID-19 infections, then why do they have the lowest rate of COVID-19 vaccinations?

Are those "right wing" anti-vaxxers supposed to include Black and Latino Californians, based on the voting patterns of Black and Latino Californians? Is perhaps the media narrative and political spin just AIN'T TRUE?

So President Biden and Vice-President Harris aside, are Newsom and Garcetti victims of the state and city problems facing us all, as successful Californians bail and flee from L.A. and the Golden State to improve their lots and better enjoy the retirement earned by their decades-long, hard-earned prosperity (and loss of California tax dollars)?

Or are they (Newsom and Garcetti) the blazing and integral part of the problem?

It's not as if we don't have good Democrats, or even Republicans, to run things around here.

But if we keep electing the same LOSERS to Sacramento and L.A. City Hall, is that a true vote of confidence among those running for their lives out of L.A. and California?

Or is it that we keep on voting for the WRONG political leaders, Democrats or otherwise, while those who acknowledge the BULLCRAP flee to the outside world of honesty and sanity?
