THE VIEW FROM HERE - The best outcome from Tuesday’ election is that Pelosism is dead. One reason most people missed the ruinous impact Pelosism was having on the nation is that she controlled too much and could squelch negative analysis. Also, in a polarized nation where the Dems seldom know what the right leaning media says, except to ridicule it, they could not see the growing hatred of Pelosi’s Identity Politics and Wokeism. On December 14, 2023, in “Biden Fails to Realize that Americans Hate Wokeism“, this column wrote “Unless Biden grows a pair over night and opposes Wokeism, America will turn to a madman who promises to be a dictator . . “ Instead, Biden kowtowed to Pelosi. Pelosi’s theory that the minorities would all ban to together to Wash the White Out of America was not only racist, but absurd. Her method was to replace individual inalienable rights with group rights based on skin color and minority status. How would Identity Politics, aka, Wokeism work? The Dems would distribute the good things in life to their Woke minority supporters, aka, slavery reparations.
Pelosism killed the only chance Kamala Harris had to win the Presidency. Had Kamala actually rejected Wokeism as she began to do at DNC, she probably would have won, but she had Pelosi, Biden, and Obama against such a change. Had Kamala been of historic leadership material, she would have done it.
As the election polls were showing, minorities were increasingly shunning Wokeism in favor of individual initiative. Wokers were too blinded by their true belief in Wokeism to see what was happening. Dems, for example, created a completely fictitious group called Latinos. There is no such group! However, because the Dems were blind to what individuals want and insist the group Latinos all want the same thing, they could not comprehend that a lot of Mexicans do not favor the new wave of illegals, many of whom are not Mexican and who are being handed goodies like free rent by the Dems. Mexicans historically came to Del Norte to work – work hard in the fields and in sweatshops. The crime rate among Mexican “illegal” workers was nearly non-existent. There is little resemblance between the decades of hard working Mexicans who came North, who helped build America, and who would fight in our wars and the ramble which Biden-Harris allowed to flood into the country.
Because so many Mexicans had worked their way into the middle class, they knew the role individual initiative played in success. America is a country which is abusive and unfair to newcomers, and each generation of newcomers is treated like garbage. But with time, effort, and hard work, Mexicans were realizing the American Dream. The Dems, however, lump together the pre- 1848 Mexican population, e.g., Californios, Tejanos, Neomexicanos, who have been here since the 1500's with Puerto Ricans, Cubanos, and anyone else with a Spanish surname. By treating them all alike, they could not see subtrends.
Trump Is Not as Dumb as Wokers Think
When Trump started his campaign in 2015 by saying that Mexico was not sending its best people to the US but rather “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists,” he made a huge error. However, by 2024 his message had changed. Now he used the term “illegal immigrants” and focused on Muslim terrorists and Blacks from Haiti who were allegedly eating people’s dogs and cats. Reality is that Mexicans do not like Blacks, and many Mexicans and other Hispanics realized that Wokeism has one greatly favored group – Blacks. Thus, Trump’s seemingly bizarre insisting that Haitian were eating dogs, was a dramatic way to focus on Blacks as the illegal troublemakers and not on the Mexican voters whom Trump needed. Of course, the Wokers attacked Trump for his lies about Haitians, providing Trump with millions of dollars in free publicity to help him mend his fences with Mexican-Americans.
Biden’s-Harris’-Walz’ Pro-Hamas and anti-Semitism was Visible
It will take several months for honest academics to verify the extent to which the Biden Administration’s anti-Semitism caused Centrist voters to favor Trump. It took a long time for the Center to see that Biden was back stabbing Israel and was defaming its coalition leader Netanyahu. Biden took to non-stop Blood Libels against our best ally. Biden’s repeating the Hamas’s anti-Israel propaganda made some Centrists nervous. Biden was proving to be consistently wrong in everything he said about how Israel was conducing the war. Centrists, as opposed to true believers in Wokeism, are more prone to analyze and think about situations and not accept the media memes. The Dems had no answer to Trump’s claim that had he been President, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and Iran would not be attacking Israel. By withholding arms from Israel and by delaying the IDF as much as possible, Biden ran up the death toll of Gazans and then in true Hamas fashion, he blamed Israel.
Biden opposed Israel’s moving Gazans out of harms way so that the IDF could attack Hamas; the Wokers called it “forced relocation.” Biden withheld bunker buster bombs which explode downward to destroy the terrorist tunnels and do not harm the civilians who have been moved several blocks away. Biden withheld heavy bulldozers which made it easier, faster, and safer for the IDF to find tunnel entrances under demolished apartments. That is one tactic by which Biden greatly prolonged the war causing thousands more Gazan casualties.
Pelosi’s Racist Anti-Semitic Wokeism Fell Apart
Not only did Trump win the popular vote and the electoral college vote, he won with the help of Pelosi’s Oppressed. Many minorities and young people voted for Trump, despite the fact that Grandpa Barrack Obama shook his finger at them. It is doubtful that Walz’ saying that Hamas supporters in Michigan were acting for all the right reasons and then Harris accusing Jews of committing genocide favorably impressed Centrists. What will be interesting is separating out the Jewish vote. (Decades ago, I had a very minor role to help ascertain the Jewish vote in Los Angeles and I got a glimpse how really complicated that task was since we are no longer ghettoized.)
Pelosi’s best comeuppance was the Hamas supporters in Michigan allegedly voting for Jill Stein (0.8%) or not voting at all. Trump 49.6%, Harris 48.5% Also of interest is that pre-voting polls showed that 45% of Arabs supported Trump and 43% supported Harris. Not all Arabs are Hamas supports.
Pelosi Was Truly Hated with Good Reason
Although Californians may never realize it, Nancy Pelosi was the most hated politician in America – much more so than Trump. Trump understood her and nicknamed here “Killer Pelosi.” In retrospect, I am certain we will find that some GOP representatives were have been elected to the House last night in order to prevent Pelosi from becoming Speaker again. Normally, voters in one state do not care who is running for the House in other states, but Pelosi changed all that for purple states. They fear that if the House gets a majority of Dems, Pelosi will demand to be Speaker and that will affect every state. Thus, her being in the race tends to reduce the number of Dem House candidates who win in purple states.
Although True Believers tend to rise from the ashes of defeat, without votes Wokeism is nothing. The anti-Semitic Squad should be dead, provided Trump doesn’t blow it.
