WESTSIDE - The conditions along Washington Blvd. and Marr become more peculiar as it seems RV occupants truly believe they have an inherent right to break the law!
The vehicle in question seen here has been parked at 712 Marr for at least a week based on the citation history leading back to September 8th. The citation here was written on September 16th.
Apparently, Los Angeles does not conduct regular enforcement on these "size time" restriction zones but only enforce with complaints by residents.
In effect, the city only accepts calls for overnight parking violations during these restricted hours.
In this case a resident reported the violation after 2AM.
A local reported it to parking enforcement overnight dispatch for the last three nights, but the RV has not received another ticket since the first Marr St ticket on the 16th.
Obviously, there is limited enforcement of illegally parked RVs.
The images here were provided by the resident who made the complaints to city officials.
For is it possible the Mayor's Office or other city officials have limited or prevent multiple citations from being written?
Is there a policy of writing just one ticket per week?
Sources tell me that the resident making the complaints will continue to report on a daily basis until the vehicle is moved or towed.
As of this writing the vehicle is still parked.
There is a handmade sign indicating the owner is a Venice resident and that contact, he left a text number. There is the one citation also on this particular RV.
