CommentsALPERN AT LARGE-Oh, you wonderful "fact-checkers"!
Where WOULD we be if we didn't have you to tell us that SB-145, a bill seeking to end "discrimination against the LGBT community" did not legalize pedophilia.
Where WOULD we be if we didn't have the "fact-checkers" to support the concept that judges didn't already have discretion to avoid inappropriate sex offender classification to both gay and straight youths? (Photo above: California State Senate in session.)
Where WOULD we be if we didn't have the "fact-checkers" to let Californians know that--after 1-2 years of gas-lighting Californians who fought tooth and nail from the California Legislature passing bills that would destroy state zoning and environmental laws from State Senator Scott Wiener--this same Mr. Wiener could be trusted to make sure that underage youths were protected from sexual predators.
Where WOULD we be if we didn't have the "fact-checkers" to ignore the huge surge in BOTH gay and straight sex trafficking that has been a huge focus of federal and local law enforcement that has gotten so frightfully out of control that it boggles the mind as to how it could occur in modern-day America and the Western world.
Where WOULD we be if we didn't have the "fact-checkers" to say it's much better to have a 19-year-old having sexual intercourse (gay or straight, and regardless of the type of penetration) with an underage minor than a 25-year-old having sexual intercourse with that same minor?
Most importantly, where WOULD we be if we just didn't have the concept that having sex with people (gay or straight, and of any type of sexual activity) under the age of 16, and particularly when you're 18 years of age or older, is just plain freaking WRONG.
Or is the same moron (State Senator Scott Wiener), so damned empowered by a California State Legislature and Governor who've collectively lost their damned minds, and who tried to tell us that state zoning, environmental, and health/safety laws are immoral, any less horrible a leader when he tries to tell us that sexual predator laws against minors are also immoral?
In short, the issue of SB-145 has nothing to do with being anti-LGBTQ. It's about protecting the rights, the dignity, and both the mental and physical health of defenseless minors against ANYONE who would violate a minor in any form of sexual manner.
Shame on you in Sacramento who goy this bill to proceed this far, and shame on us for voting in the crazy, clueless morons who have put us through a veritable nightmare of bills that make no sense, have no logic, and should never be part of any civilized society whatsoever.
