Does the Anti-Trump Bump, Trump Turning CA into a Sump?

LOS ANGELES

ALPERN AT LARGE--You would think that the only person willing to turn California into a sewer sump is a chump.

One would think that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) should be heeded that San Francisco is turning into a dump.

Shouldn't the willingness to have human waste and sewage dumped into the ocean turn an environmentalist into one big goose bump?

Doesn't San Francisco (and much of the rest of urban California's coastline) antagonizing the EPA create in our collective throat a great, big lump?

Currently we see EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler decry California's policies on a tear and a stump.

All our taxes and eco-friendly policies, and yet not enough clean water reservoirs and filters, and pumps!

Yet our own California EPA's Jared Blumenfeld is calling out the federal EPA's lack of cooperation--is he right, or is he just a grump?

Is Trump just plain wrong, and merely a pain in our collective rump?

Or is California mainly to blame, and coming across as dumb as Forrest Gump?

Our clean air and water and land is down, and our homeless and infectious disease problems are now on a jump?

Sooner or later, we need less verbiage, and more results, lest we fall down with a big "flump"!

Is it Sacramento, or is Washington, who merits the biggest and angriest chest thump?

Is it Gavin Newsom, or Donald Trump, who is the most obnoxious and problematic grump?

Who can we turn to in order to get us past this hump?

Or are we doomed to watch our state, our enlightened and pro-environment state, turn into a big fat dump?

Or does our state's hatred for Trump trump our willingness to have good government while our public sector, with all its pensions and experts and hires, get ever and endlessly more plump?
