There is so much information out there about cleanses and fasts that it's challenging to know how to incorporate one into your life. The truth is there is not one cleanse that suits everyone equally. Factors like activity level and diet, along with constitutional elements of the body help us to decide what type of cleanse works best for you.

A safe way to go about a cleanse on your own is to simply eliminate certain foods from your diet for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.  Most bodies will do better with less sugar, alcohol, dairy and caffeine.  All too often we hear about these extreme cleanses that can have as many adverse side affects as positive if one isn’t careful.  For more information on the right type of cleanse for your body, we can help. Proof that sugar damages the heart

From time to time most of us have issues with too much sugar. You don't have to eat a box of candy to get excess sugar in your body. Bread, pasta, chips, some fruit and juice along with other common foods are loaded with high glycemic sugars. The study that was conducted by researchers at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), proves that a single small molecule (G6P) in sugar leads to stress on the heart that in turn alters the muscle protein and induces poor pump function causing heart failure.
