GUEST MEMO: LA Election Debate

WORLD WATCH

Running for office in Los Angeles’ March 7 primary election?

Supporting an initiative or charter amendment?

Send in your video today! Join the GREAT OnLine LA ELECTION DEBATE!

Clearly, it’s not the time to shut up, step back, sit down, or stop paying attention! Instead, it’s time to get active, get involved, lace up your sneakers! They go low – we go local!

Winning matters on the LAUSD school board. And since the November election, the Mayor’s job just got way more important -- as the mayor of the country’s second largest city, one of the world’s most diverse cities.

It is in keeping with our mandate to promote citizen engagement and our belief that everyone deserves a voice, CityWatch LA invites you to submit a video message up to 4½ minutes to share with our readers and the Los Angeles public as part of our “Great OnLine LA Election Debate.”

Our intent is to provide this free, open access for all candidates and campaigns in order to engage the communities of Los Angeles and increase participation in LA’s March election.

Your video will run alongside all of the other candidates and campaigns competing in March and will be exposed to CityWatch’s 122,000 influential opt-in subscribers and direct-to-site activist readers responsible for 4.5 million hits a week. Your video(s) will run beginning February 6 … or as soon as you get them to us … through Mar 7. You can change your video or add videos for a modest fee.

Contact me directly for all the details [email protected] -- Ken has asked me to help curate this effort and you know I can’t resist a chance to nudge would-be politicians! So pester your favorite candidate or campaign to send in their video today!

This is a rare opportunity. Don’t be left out of the CityWatch OnLine Primary Election DEBATE … it’s FUN, IMPORTANT, & FREE!
