#1. The "Newseum" swamped with debt is in talks to sell their very costly building in Washington D.C. In 2016 it operated at a substantial loss.
Some are blaming President Trump's "Fake News" charges. However, The Newseum has lost money since 2008 so that lets Trump off the hook. And, as Uncle Walter Cronkite used say. "That's The Way It Is"
Actually that was the second version of his closing. The original was "And That's The Way It Is, Cause I Say It Is" CBS pointed out that was a bit over the top and unseemly. Not liking it, Walter eventually caved.
#2. Judge Judy was recently quoted saying "I think women who watch me like to see a woman in control." A number of men, when asked about Judge Judy were quoted as saying, "She reminds me of my first wife."
#3. There was another emotional support animal and airline incident reported. United Airlines refused to allow a woman to bring her support peacock on a flight. Sounds about right to me.
Now Spirit airlines turned away a support hamster. The passenger was told she could let it go or flush it. She chose flushing.
The airline denies that she was told to flush the hamster. I'd much prefer sitting next to a little hamster than some "They need to make these seats bigger" goober stuffing themselves into the seat next to me.
#4. It might turn out that the efforts by ‘no wall’ advocates might have finally found a way to stop the building of "The Wall." A lawsuit has been filed by environmental groups and California against the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security. The suit claims the Quino checkspot butterfly, the Riverside fairy shrimp and the Pacific pocket mouse will be threatened by "The Wall." Perhaps if the no pipeline crowd had found some fairy shrimp and a pocket mouse or two they might have stopped building them.
#5. A spokeswoman for the first lady says reports that Melania Trump had a ceremony to rid the White House of demons before moving in are false. Insiders tell us that the ceremony actually occurred AFTER they moved in … somewhere around the Stormy What’s Her Name who ha.
