The Residents of North Hollywood, the NoHo Arts District, Valley Village, Valley Glen, Studio City, with parts of Van Nuys and Sun Valley deserve better representation, better services, and better land use policy than the status quo. The City of Los Angeles CD 2 Voters deserve an open and frank discussion about what is going on inside city government and how the 8 Billion dollar annual budget is spent or rather misspent on lousy contracting, developer tax revenue giveaways, poor personnel practices, lease and asset giveaways, and platinum pensions.
For the last three years, I have been a good government activist by attending countless Board of Supervisor meetings and challenging the arrogance of power. Now, as a Studio City resident, it's time to turn my attention to the goings on at LA City Hall. After years of working in the Entertainment Industry, including as a line producer (budget specialist), I'd like to use those skills to ensure proper and fair delivery of services, including Police and Fire, to the often neglected Valley, more good employment for the Residents of my Council District, and an end to the Tax-and-Spend-and-Fine ways of LA City Hall and to the prioritization of Special Interests over the Interests of Residents like You.
