POLITICS - The special election to replace retired Rep. Jane Harman will take place on Tuesday, July 12, [link] deciding between Democrat Janice Hahn, a Los Angeles councilwoman, and Republican Craig Huey, a small business owner.
According to a MapLight analysis, as of Sunday, July 3, Hahn has raised over $1.25 million dollars, with over $850,000 coming from contributions provided by individuals and almost $400,000 coming from PACs. Huey has raised slightly less than $1 million, including almost $800,000 in self-financing.
The remainder of Huey's contributions are comprised of $142,000 from individuals and just over $25,000 from PACs.

Huey has raised slightly less than $1 million, including almost $800,000 in self-financing. The remainder of Huey's contributions are comprised of $145,000 from individuals and just over $26,000 from PACs.
