L.A.’s largest free multicultural holiday celebration Christmas Eve

64th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration23 performing groups in colorful costumes, representing the many cultures of Los Angeles, celebrate the season during this free, 3-hour extravaganza of holiday-themed music and dance.

WHEN:
• Sunday, Dec. 24 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
(Audience begins lining up at noon)

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

3 p.m. – 4 p.m.:
South Side Symphony (18-piece Black youth orchestra fuses soul, hip-hop and jazz with classical technique)
RAISE (18-member gospel choir)
Técnica Arte y Folklore (colorful Mexican folklorico)
Pasadena Girls' Choir (all girls choir ages 7-17)
TAIKOPROJECT (heart-pounding Japanese drumming) & Blue 13 Dance Company (Southeast Asian Indian-influenced contemporary choreography)
Christian Fellowship Chorale (30-member gospel choir accompanied by piano, guitar, bass & drums))
Jessica Fichot (French/Chinese chanteuse on accordion & toy piano, accompanied by clarinet, guitar, and bass)

4 p.m. – 5 p.m.:
Greeting by L.A. County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell (2nd District)
Torrance Civic Chorale & South Bay Children’s Choir (Choral music)
Hiza Yoo Korean Dance Institute (Korean dance)
Vox Femina Los Angeles (All-female choir)
Gabrielito Y La Verdad (Nine-piece Latin jazz band)
Treble on Grand (a cappella jazz)
XoroTroptzi (colorful Bulgarian folk dance ensemble)
MUSYCA Children’s Choir (40-member youth vocal ensemble)

5 p.m. – 6 p.m.:
Divas and Drummers of Compton (25 dancers, 10 drummers)
Carnegie Gospel Choir (50-member choir accompanied by piano, bass & drums)
Mostly Kosher & Jewish Youth Orchestra (Nine-piece Jewish cultural revival band & six-piece youth orchestra)
Palmdale Choral Union (world-class high school choir)
M Dance Collective (traditional Chinese dance)
The Citrus Singers (30-member choir with handbells)
Reverb Tap (tap dance ensemble)
Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (upbeat holiday tunes andchoralography”)
