Editor’s Memo: LA’s Cat

WORLD WATCH

CITYWATCH TODAY—I got an email from Tony Lee a few days ago. Tony is a documentary producer-director. He has made a film about LA’s favorite cat … P22. Also, now, America’s favorite cat.

Tony wanted to know if CityWatch would help promote his new doc … starring LA’s most popular ‘ghost cat’ … which is what mountain lions are called. That’s because they’re shy and secretive and nocturnal … making the task of telling P22’s story all the more fascinating and challenging.

Tony takes us behind the scenes in the making of ‘P22-The Cat that Changed America’ and links us to the trailer so we can all be properly teased and excited about his new film. A special piece for animal lovers … in Today’s CityWatch.

And, on the subject of wildlife, Tim Deegan explains that Props FF and GG … on November’s ballot … will help protect the P22’s and other animal friends of ours that share space with us on LA’s hillsides.

And, on the subject of wildlife Part 2 … Bob Gelfand takes a contrarian angle on the last Clinton-Trump debate. Gelfand says ‘who cares.’ Find out about what … also, in Today’s CityWatch.

Then, let us know what you think. We’re good listeners.
